Description
The Smart-UPS On-Line family from APC by Schneider Electric offers high-density, online double-conversion power protection for servers, voice and data networks, medical labs, and light industrial applications. Smart-UPS On-Line is available in sizes ranging from 2U to 12U and is capable of supporting loads between 1kVA and 20kVA. Recent series expansions at 15 and 20 kVA allow for the support of power-hungry blade servers and highly loaded equipment racks. When business-critical systems require runtime measured in hours rather than minutes, Smart-UPS On-Line can be equipped with corresponding battery packs to meet stringent runtime requirements.
The bundled PowerChute management software gracefully shuts down network operating systems without human intervention. All versions above 5 kVA feature a network management card for remote management (which is optional on models below 5 kVA). The Smart-UPS On-Line family provides customers with a dependable supply of uninterruptible power even in demanding power settings, such as an extremely wide input voltage window, extremely tight output voltage control, frequency regulation, internal bypass, and input power factor correction.
